Launch of IT City- 23rd March

The purpose of public Wi-Fi hotspots in the province is to bridge the digital divide by providing free, reliable Internet access in major public places. The PITB has set up 200 free Wi-Fi hotspots in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Murree districts. 

Visit to Kartarpur

CM Maryam Nawaz visited the Kartarpur Corridor’s Zero Line and officially launched the golden sickle for wheat harvest in Kheti Sahib. She was warmly welcomed by Sikh pilgrims at Pak Darshan Deodhi and visited various religious sites, including Sarovar and Samadhi. The Sikh community appreciated her initiatives inviting them to visit Punjab.

Murree School Visit

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Government Girls High School, Murree during heavy rain, surprising teachers and students. Maryam Nawaz also praised the school’s arrangements and was accompanied by Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman.

Tandoor Visit

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif made an unexpected visit to a tandoor in Lahore today to engage with the local community and discuss the price of roti, a staple food item in Pakistan. During her visit, she inquired about the current price of roti and advised the public to ensure they are charged no more than Rs. 16         per roti.

Anti Narcotics Drive Launched
